CALL TO ACTION!!

Yesterday, House Bill 382 was sent to the House Finance Committee. The bill can either die in committee or move forward with hearings. The Chair and Vice Chair of the committee will decide whether or not the bill gets to be heard. This is where we come in - we must make calls to Representatives Oelslager and Plummer to urge them to allow HB 382 to be heard in the Finance Committee. Your calls can be short and to the point. Most of the time, you’ll be speaking with an aide to the Representative or leaving a voicemail. You will let them know that you are calling to request that HB 382 receive hearings in the Finance Committee. If you have time to call other members of the committee, you’ll let them know that you support HB 382 and urge them to do the same.
