Information we may collect
- Information you provide: name, date of birth, email, phone, optional mailing address, adult or active-Ohio-medical-patient eligibility attestation, legacy-site-member claim and optional prior account email, account/profile data, communication and sharing choices, messages, form answers, directory or event submissions, reviews, orders, saved searches, research requests, and communications.
- Technical information: IP address, device/browser details, pages viewed, referring pages, approximate location derived from IP, and security logs.
- Cookie and browser data: age confirmation, cookie preference, session, security, cart, checkout, and finder usage counts—plus, only with consent where required, analytics or marketing identifiers.
- Transaction and membership data: products or plans purchased, order or subscription status, trial status, legacy-member review status, and fulfillment details. Payment-card data is generally processed by Wix or another payment provider rather than stored directly by OCL.
How we use information
We use information to operate and secure the site; create, confirm, and authenticate accounts; enforce free and paid access limits; provide groups, forms, directories, events, reviews, rewards, merchandise, and support; process memberships and renewals; aggregate approved review and feedback data; respond to requests; send communications you requested; measure and improve services; prevent abuse; maintain records; and comply with law.
When information is shared
We may share information with Wix and other hosting, payment, email, SMS, analytics, form, fulfillment, event, security, and professional-service providers working for us; with a selected partner only when you consent to partner sharing or intentionally follow a partner link or submit a partner form; during a business reorganization; or when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights, or prevent harm. We do not promise that public posts, profiles, directory listings, or group activity are private.
Finder sources
The finders may index public factual information from approved operator, dispensary, regulator, laboratory, and OCL pages. OCL does not intentionally collect private accounts or restricted pages for these indexes. A source correction or removal request can be sent to the contact address above.
Your choices
Signed-in members can manage newsletter email, other promotional email, promotional SMS, and partner-sharing choices in the account dashboard. These choices are optional and off by default. You may also use an unsubscribe link in an email, reply STOP to a marketing text, choose essential-only cookies in the site banner, or contact us about access or correction. The dashboard includes a self-service account-deletion control; an active paid subscription must be canceled first. We may need to verify identity and may retain or reassign content and information required for security, moderation, legal, accounting, transaction, dispute, or compliance records.
Retention and security
Member eligibility and legacy-status records are stored in a private Wix CMS collection readable only by the record owner and site administrators. We retain information only as reasonably needed for the purposes described, legal obligations, disputes, and security. We use reasonable safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security. Date-of-birth entry, patient attestation, email confirmation, and automated-abuse controls reduce risk but are not government-ID or registry verification and do not eliminate bots, attackers, or misuse.
Children and age-restricted content
The site is not directed to children under 18. Adult-use cannabis content and commerce are intended for people 21+. If you believe a minor submitted personal information, contact us.
External services and changes
Linked sites, embedded media, social networks, Wix services, and partners have separate privacy policies. We may update this policy; the effective date above identifies the current version.
