Ohio Dispensary Damaged After Car Crash

A car crashed into the front entrance of the Sunnyside Dispensary in Wintersville, Ohio on Tuesday, November 11, 2025. The impact damaged both the vehicle and the dispensary’s entryway.

Wintersville Fire Chief Rob Herrington said the driver lost control. No injuries were reported. First responders confirmed the building’s structure was safe, but the entrance took visible damage. The vehicle’s front end was heavily damaged.

Confirmed details:

• Crash date: November 11, 2025

• Location: Sunnyside Dispensary, East Main Street

• Driver lost control

• No injuries

• Entryway and vehicle damaged

• No indication of anything intentional

Even though this was a traffic accident, situations like this always get attention when a dispensary is involved. With more cannabis locations opening across Ohio, it raises an important question about whether stores should install stronger safety barriers at their entrances.

If you’re from Wintersville or shop at this location, I want to hear from you. Does an accident like this change how safe you feel visiting a dispensary, or is it just one of those random things that can happen anywhere?
