Over 1400 Companies Apply for New Ohio Medical Marijuana Dispensary Licenses

The Ohio State Pharmacy board released the list of 1400 applications for 73 new dispensary licenses . Each applicant had to pay a 5k application fee . Also this a lottery so there is no guarantee any one applicant will get one license or all 73 . We see several companies from all over Ohio and beyond attempting to open new dispensaries . Some of the companies already have established processing and cultivation sites . Some of the familiar names Grow Ohio Buckeye Relief Galenas The Forest About Wellness to name a few . A question I have is what will the state do with 7 million dollars worth fees collected for application fees . We also dont know when we will find out who the 73 lucky winners are .
