Sub. Bill 56: Ohio Lawmakers Schedule New Vote to Weaken Ohio Cannabis Law
Hello everyone, it’s Sunday, June 22, 2025.
Ohio lawmakers plan to vote on Sub. Bill 56 on June 24 at 10:00 AM at the Ohio Statehouse Columbus Ohio . We need people to call in and write in.

Please send your message to the Judiciary Committee and the lawmakers listed below.
The message should be simple and clear:
Please vote no on Sub. Bill 56.
Allow more public comments.
Listen to Ohio voters.
If lawmakers get thousands of respectful messages and calls Monday and Tuesday from Ohio voters, they are likely to postpone the vote until the next session. If we send a bunch of angry emails and phone calls, they will just do it anyway. That’s the truth.
We have to respectfully and peacefully speak in opposition to this bill. I have already posted information about Sub. Bill 56, which is currently sitting in the Ohio House Judiciary Committee.
As of writing this post, nothing has changed with the Issue 2 law.
I think we’ve gone over what’s at stake already. Now we just need one clear message:
Vote no on Sub. Bill 56. Listen to Ohio voters. Keep it simple and respectful.
